Hand-blended Special Bronze Tenor Saxophone Mouthpieces
"I was incredibly impressed with the response, evenness and tone and pestered Mark for years to make me one. I finally got a mouthpiece from Mark in 2003 and have been playing it even since. I use it on my latest record (sound Vault Records) and on the CDs by the assumptions trio and Murphy's Law (Newmarketmusic) Mark hand mixes the alloy and hand makes every stage. It has a fat, strong, warm sound over the entire range of the horn at all dynamic levels. Beautiful, warm subtone and clear broad altissimo. Unlike other mouthpieces I have played, the sound and tone is consistent over the whole horn and I can play from the bottom end right up in to the altissimo register without changing my embouchure, which enables me to make large interval leaps without having to adjust."

"Your mouthpiece just sings! It is a little Brighter that the Tenney and plays easier then the Lamberson due to it (the Lamberson) being a 8 opening. The Lamberson has similar tone qualities as does your mouthpiece but i like yours better. Out of the 3 I just had to have yours, the Tenney will make a good back up piece and I still haven't decided on the Lamberson as to if it will replace the Tenney. Maybe I should sell them both and get another Link V from you...... Thanks for making me a GREAT mouthpiece. I'm 62 years old and have been playing since i was 12 and your mouthpiece is the best I've played, hands down."

" Man, MAN, just got the links in the post, and, I can't believe the rubber Link, it's just incredible.... it's what I'd hoped the Sumner would turn out to be (which was very close, but, not the free-blowing 'feel' and power, and the high shit), it's absolutely wonderful. I've been messing with a few different reeds, and good results with all. It's a huge sound, with character, great subtone, 'dog whistles', and BIG body... Can't thank you enough.... Your work on the STM is beautiful... but, the rubber one literally buries everything else I've got. I don't want to go to my classes or rehearsals, just want to make some noise!"
